FIRE IN THE EYES !!

Smokey eyes

The most important step for achieving smokey eye is blending the light colors with the rich dark ones. The blending must be flawless for a good smokey effect.
All you need for the smokey eye make up:

* Eyes primer
* 2 Shadows: a light shade case and a darker hue
* Eyeliner
* Makeup brushes
* Mascara
• Preparing the eyes:
You need to keep the eyelid oil-free for having the right smokey effect. Apply a primer to achieve this. Try the Urban Decay’s ‘primer portion’ or MAC’s ‘paint’ for this. The primer keeps the smokey effect intact. Apply a light concealer below the eyes to accentuate the smokey effect.
You can apply powdered concealer too. This will not only conceal the dark circles below eyes but also help gett rid of the excessive eye shadow.
You can also use a very mute shaded eye shadow and apply it all around the eyes from the lash line to the inner corner. This not only provides a nice canvas for your smokey eye make up but also highlights the whole effect.
• Applying the eye liner:
Match the eye liner as per your smokey eye effect color, and apply it on the upper lash line and have a broader line in the middle of the lash line. Line the upper and the lower lash rims using an eye pencil. For ladies with smaller eyes, start lining from the middle of the lash rim towards the outer ends.

Use an eye liner pencil on the bottom lash line to blend color since they can be easily smudged. After applying the liner use your finger to smudge the line, using a bit of shadow is also great for giving the complete smudge effect.
• Blending the colors:
Use a Q-tip for this. Then apply a light base shade.  A shimmery eye shadow will complete the effect. Go for mundane, pearly and creamy shades for base. Whereas for the darker hue pick a nice dark shade may be a chocolate brown, grey or black will help create the magic.
Concentrate the lighter shades at the inner corners of the eyes.
Blend in the deep shade with the base shade, start blending from your lash line and upwards and end blending the deep shade at the crease.
• The finishing touch- mascara on eyes:
Now try a very nude look for the rest of your face. To highlight the eyes, keep the lips and cheeks nude. Use mundane, mute shades of lip colors. This shall give you a complete smokey look.

WHATS BEST FOR EYES !!

How To Choose Colored Contact Lens For Eyes

If you want to improve your looks along with your vision, a colored contact lens is what you need! Available in a variety of colors ranging from natural colors to exotic ones, you can change the color of your eye and form a style statement of your own by opting for the right color contacts. Many a reputed brand is now offering an array of corrective as well as cosmetic colored contact lenses for you to choose from.
Color Contact Lenses-Types
However, when you choose to invest in color contacts, there are quite a few aspects you need to remember. First of all, you should know about the main kinds of colored contact lenses available in the market.
Here is a list for you:
• Enhancement tints- Color contacts with enhancement tints help to make your eyes look intense. Generally, they tend to suit you if you have light colored eyes. These contacts help to accentuate your eye without drastically changing the color.
• Opaque tints- Much opposed to the enhancement tints, the opaque ones help to change your eye color drastically. If you want to bring in a total change in your appearance, this is what you should opt for. If you have naturally brown eyes, you can make them look blue or green by using opaque tints! They are perfect for a party look or a special occasion.
• Theatrical tints- This category of contact lenses allow you to get special (or even wild) effects. Suppose you want the eyes of a vampire or a cat! Or say you love a sultry pink! These are the color contacts you must choose.
• Light filtering color contacts- These lenses allow you to get a better vision as well as appearance. They are new in the market and are perfect for you if you are a sports enthusiast or an athlete.
• Visibility tint- If comfort is your priority, this is the lens category you must go for. These lenses do not necessarily change the color of your eye; they are almost alternatives of glasses. Virtually, they are invisible once they are worn.

Choosing Color Contacts- Aspects to Consider
Once you are well informed about the color lenses and their types, here is how you go about choosing the one that suits you best:
• Opt for the color you like best; this would be dependent on the effects you want to achieve. Depending upon your priorities, go for opaque colors, theatrical tints or enhancement tints.
• While choosing your color, you must take your hair color and complexion into account. If you have black hair, go for lighter shades like grey or blue. Or if you have brown hair, hazel would be a perfect match for you!
• Consider the one that blends wonderfully with your features. If you want to accentuate your natural features and maintain a less drastic approach when it comes to looks, go for tints that would help your eyes look brighter in the natural way. If you have dark eyes and dark hair, you could go for a golden brown lens.
• Your skin tone needs to be paid attention too! With a wheatish skin tone, you could like to go for topaz.
• Of course, you need to take money matters into consideration! Stick to the brand that is in keeping with your budget.
• It is always advised that you have your eyes examined before you purchase contacts from a reputed professional. You could even request the professional for a trial for a short period of time to make sure the one you have chosen is perfect for you.

Choosing Color Contacts- Tips for Indian Women.
• If you have a fair complexion, aqua colored lenses would impart freshness to your looks. Colors like purple would also look fabulous!
• If your skin tone is dark, go for amethyst or grey to make your eyes look attractive. If you love shades like blue or green, it would be better to go for darker shades of the same instead of brighter ones.
• If your skin is tanned, go for hazel or honey colored lenses.

JEANS - A COMMON NECESSITY !!

How To Choose Jeans

All women lose body shape over their course of life. Be optimistic when you choose jeans because there ARE jeans that will fit your body type. let’s see some more types of jeans.

Boot-cut jeans

Boot cut jeans flare out at the bottoms, so that they go over your boots.  Think of bell bottoms with less flare and you have boot cut jeans.. The jeans are ideal for women who have bigger hips or thighs. The flare balances the lower part of the body with the thighs and makes them look slimmer. Select a low-rise jeans to make your hips smaller. If you have large thighs but smaller hips, select a boot cut with pockets to add fullness to your hips.

Straight cut jeans

If you cannot decide which jeans would suit your body type, buy a straight leg jeans. You can never go wrong with these basic jeans. They have a classic fit. The short ladies should go for straight fits which will make them look tall.

Destroyed Jeans

Are you in your teens and want to look uber cool? Then destroyed jeans are for you. Look hot by coupling it with blouses, tee-shirts and buttoned-down shirts.
Here are a few more tips on how to choose jeans:
• Color: A darker jean gives a slender look and is flattering while excessively light denims can actually add bulk.
• Choose stretch jeans with Lycra which are comfortable at home and outside and also ensure the right custom fit. Never choose jeans which are bulky and baggy. Try again and again to find the perfect fit for your body. Supposing if your waist is 26 inches buy a jean of about 28 inches waist, since this will ensure comfort. Refer to the size chart in every store and brand.
• Wearing mom’s pair of jeans will give you an aged look. Mom jeans fit quite well to most of us. Being high rise tapered and wide, they look terrible on every shape. Choose what is meant for your age and figure.
• Wearing daughter’s jeans is also a bad experiment to be tried on. Teen’s jeans are available in different styles to suit their lifestyle. Wearing what is meant for the teens gives a taste of your bad fashion sense.
• Any sort of bleaching will highlight those particular parts of your body. Some jeans have a faded spot on the thighs, that bleached spot will make your thighs the focus of attention and, ultimately, make them look bigger.
• Don’t think that showing off the underwear is gathering a lot of attention. Choose such low waist jean so that your thong or other lingerie is not sticking out. My best advice is to ‘Keep your underwear inside your jeans.’
• Blue jeans should never be worn with white cross-training sneaker. It shows you are taking the easy way out. Experiment with colored shoes and heels with jeans.

PRADA?...... GUCCI?.... ARMANI?

How to Choose Sunglasses for Face Shape

Have you ever visited like a billion sunglasses stores and returned empty handed? No? Well, have not just once but a gazillion times. I am one of the most confused person on earth when it comes to picking a sunglasses for myself, I mean I like every color, lens and frame in the shop, although I can select sunglasses for everyone around the globe, I can never do it for myself. :(
Here’s an article which will help you select the most suitable and prominent sunglasses for yourself this summer.
I know how it is to try out every frame you like in the store, but then here are some guidelines which may help you in getting to know as to which frame will suit your respective face shape, thus saving your time and effort. :)

The 3 main things to be kept in mind before picking sunglasses are:
• Never contrast your eye color and the color of the lens. Like Grey eyes look great with Grey lenses.
• Never match your face shape and the shape of your face. Like round frames for round faces. NO!
• Never go overboard with the size of the frame, similarly never pick a drastically smaller sized frame.

Face shapes and sunglases:

The round face shape: A round face can be described as a face with proportionate curved lines and no angels at all. If you want to elongate your face and make it looker slimmer than opt for narrow angular deep frames with a bridge to widen the eyes. Rectangular frames are the best picks.
The oval face shape: Oval shaped people are one of the luckiest ones when it comes to sunglasses, since they have balanced proportions. People with oval faces must opt for wider sunglasses; the sunglasses frame is supposed to be broader than the broadest feature on your face. You can also opt for a shallow not too narrow frame.
The Oblong face shape: This face type is wide, but long and the cheek line is generally straight with a long nose. For balancing and making the oval face look shorter deep frames are recommended, also deep frames with contrasting temples help a great deal in adding width to the face, and of course to shorten the long nose a shorter bridge is recommended.
The base down triangle face shape: This kind of face is dominated by a narrow forehead and wide cheeks and chin. It is very important to pick the right frame for this kind of face, and emphasize the upper third area of the face which is narrow. You must pick frames which have heavy tints and detailing, cat eye frames are a great pick for you.
The base up triangle face shape: The upper third of this face type is wide whereas the lower third is narrower. The main concern of people with this face type must be to minimize the upper third of the face by making it look thinner, which can be achieved by trying frames with a broader bottom, the color tints must be light and rimless frames are an excellent pick.
The diamond face shape: These faces tend to be narrow and thin at the jaw line and near the eyes, but they have broad high cheekbones. You can say this is one of the rarest shapes of faces ever seen. The main concern here should be to accentuate the eyes and alleviate the cheekbones, detailed frames or frames with different brow lines can be great.
The square face shape: A strong jaw line, and a wide forehead with balanced and proportionate portions make a square face. In order to make this look long , one should pick narrower frames and the frames must have more width with extra depth.

Hope these tips help all you beautiful ladies in picking the best pair of sunnies, this summer.

NAIL-ART!!

If you appreciate the intricacy of hand-drawn designs, this technique can be beautifully recreated to look exactly like expensive fabric. The design is an exquisite alternative to embedding lace for the upcoming wedding season. The steps allow you to make this design as light or detailed as you want.

1. You will need white acrylic paint and a thin paint brush to create this look.

2. Paint nails a translucent pink color. Holden used CND Shellac in Clearly Pink.

3. Outline the major shapes you want to see in the lace design (flower, diamonds, etc.).

4. Add a scale-like pattern in the empty space around your outlines.

5. Paint thin lines going in one direction in the outlined shapes.

6. Cross over the same lines you painted in the previous step.

7. Repeat steps five and six in the rest of the outlined shapes.
Variation: Stop at step six and leave the flower shapes as negative space.

PERFECT HOMECOMING:)

Homecoming is probably one of the most memorable moments of any teenager’s life, and if you want to be the girl that everyone remembers, you must choose the right dress. Oftentimes, finding and choosing among a ton of homecoming dresses can be very daunting. Fortunately, the process doesn’t exactly have to be all that intimidating. There are so many things that you can do to easily find the perfect dress that not only suits your body perfectly, but also compliments your personal style as well.

Tips on How to Choose the Right Homecoming Dresses for Your Personal Style

- Know your style
The very first thing that you need to do in order to find the perfect homecoming dress is to know what your style is, and what type of style you wish to exude in the dress you buy. There are so many types of styles you can go for: the seductive look, the conservative look, fun and sassy, and the traditional fairy-tale look. If your personal style is funky yet sophisticated, look for a dress that compliments both of those factors. Before spending time looking for a homecoming dress, picture exactly how you want the dress to look so that you don’t waste any time at all.

- Know your size
Secondly, know your size, or at least know what size you want your body to fit in before homecoming. If you are buying the dress online, understand that you may get a dress that is too big or too small, so be open minded about alterations. When buying a dress at an actual store, don’t be afraid to try on all sorts of dresses. Some dresses look way better when you wear them than when they’re on a hanger. So don’t judge the dress by your first glance, and try it on.

- Don’t be afraid to alter the dress
If you find a homecoming dress that has a close style to your dream dress, don’t be afraid to alter it to perfectly suit your personal style. Some girls are so afraid to do anything to a dress because of how much they paid for it, but tiny tweaks can really make the dress appear way better. If you’re too afraid to make big alterations, then have a friend help you out adding certain jewels or glitters to make it look more like your dream dress.
